You first need to decide what you are looking for, and that is going to be determined by what kind of results that you need.i.e. Cardiovascular equipment like a treadmill or something in the muscle building category like a Weider home gym. When you have decided what it is that your body needs first then move in that direction.

Me personally, I definitely need the cardiovascular workout, and I have started a workout regimine that includes a couple of miles on a treadmill each day that I picked up from ebay for a really great price. My next piece of home equipment is going to be a home gym of some sort. Not sure yet which one, maybe a powerline smith gym or a body solid exm400s triple stack home gym. That one will take a little saving but it would be worth the cost.

You don't need to go all out like that though. Just look for something that you can afford that will fit what you need to do for your body to get it fit. Remember eating right is probably the biggest part of getting in shape, so consult either a doctor or a trainer before you start any routine.

Reviews

Delivery was a little slow but as it was a holiday week, not really unexpected. Gym was relatively easy to setup after overcoming the daunting number of parts. Definitely a 2-person job. Directions could use a little updating but nothing that can't be reasoned out. I'm a little concerned about the Leg Press pulley setup as it acts choppy but I haven't taken a good look at it yet to see if there is anything I can do to fix it. Otherwise it is a great product!
